One page, everything on it. Read the three boxes below and you've got the whole plan.
Sourced from your own knowledge base and 484 real customer questions. Written and ready to import … see section 7.
Delivery, warranty, installation and more get their own headings. Your existing five categories (Sauna, Showers, Walk-In Baths, Whirlpool Baths, General) stay exactly as they are.
A handful of new hub FAQs, one product family's FAQs and one category block, every month, on repeat.
This is an illustration of new topic headings sitting alongside your live vidalux.co.uk/faq/ page, not a live page itself. Every question shown below is real … either one of the 27 new ones, or one already live on your site today.
Illustration, not a live pageEvery question on the hub follows the same chain, whether it's one of the 27 new ones or a live one:
Not every question belongs on the hub. A question about one whole range goes on that range's category page. A question about one exact model goes on that model's own product page, in a questions tab.
Illustration, not a live pageFAQ block at the foot of the category page: questions that apply across the whole Whirlpool Baths range.
Sits on the individual product page, under the description and reviews: questions specific to this exact model.
Not guesswork. Every figure below comes from your own knowledge base, your own customer questions, or Google's own data about your site.
The ~600 and ~650 figures are grouped by topic rather than hand-checked one by one, so both will shrink a little once near-duplicate questions are merged into one entry. Of the 484 real customer questions, 28 weren't about Vidalux products and are set aside; of the remaining 456, 96 are already answered on the site, 220 we can answer now, and 140 the knowledge base can't answer yet. Sources listed at the end of this page.
Six article ideas were checked against real Google search data (16 months, June 2025 to September 2026). Only two justified a full rewrite. The other four are better served as FAQs, or are already well covered.
The current page is from 2016 and makes health claims with no source behind them. It gets huge search interest and almost nobody clicks through. Rewritten properly, evidence-led, this is the single biggest opportunity of the six.
The current page is from 2023 and its worked example still uses a 2023 electricity price. It doesn't mention whirlpool baths at all, despite the title. Real, current demand against thin, dated content.
Month 1 is the biggest push … everything above lands at once. After that, it's small and steady.
The 27 new FAQs go live. The two rewritten articles publish. The hub gets its new topic headings, so everything below has somewhere sensible to sit.
Drawn from the ~600 general questions already sitting in the knowledge base, plus anything genuinely new from customer support.
E.g. this month the Solara range, next month Aegean, and so on, working through the ~650 product-specific questions family by family.
Working through the 13 category pages, one a month, so every range eventually has its own 4–6 range-wide questions answered.
Written and ready to import. Nothing touches the site until you say yes. Every question and answer below is shown exactly as it is in the file you'd download.
The headings below are how we've grouped them for this page. When the CSV is imported, every row lands in the category it's tagged with today (see section 2) … new topic headings on the live hub are a separate, later step.
Standard delivery takes 5–7 working days from when your order is processed … we'll email you to confirm the date. Larger items such as steam showers and whirlpool baths arrive on a palletised delivery, so let us know in advance about any access restrictions, like a long driveway or a large lorry not being able to reach your property. Faster express and next-day options are available at checkout if you need your order sooner.
Yes … Vidalux delivers to Northern Ireland on selected items. An additional shipping charge applies at checkout, calculated automatically based on the size of your item and your specific postcode, so you'll see the total cost before you pay. Not every product ships there, so check your chosen item's page to confirm delivery is available before you order.
Back order means the item is temporarily out of stock but expected back in. Once it's back with us, we'll get in touch to arrange delivery … you can also check the ETA on the product page yourself at any time, as this is the most up-to-date source we have. If the wait doesn't suit you, a full cancellation and refund is always available.
Check every item for obvious transit damage as soon as it arrives. If you spot any, tell the driver, note the specific damage on the delivery sheet … "signed as damaged" on its own isn't enough, so be specific … and let us know straight away, ideally with a photo. All deliveries are insured against damage, but cosmetic damage must be reported within 48 hours, so don't leave it.
Standard cover is 12 months from delivery, which is the industry norm for electrical goods like ours. Some ranges carry longer cover once registered … up to 5 years on certain models. The exact length depends on your product, so register your item and check its specific terms to confirm what you're covered for.
Register online at vidalux.co.uk within 90 days of delivery. You'll need the details from the Completion Certificate at the back of your installation manual, including your installer's credentials. Registering promptly matters … it's what activates your full warranty cover, so it's worth doing as soon as your product is installed rather than leaving it.
Your extended warranty won't be activated, and your product defaults to the standard 12-month cover instead. Registration within 90 days is mandatory to get the full, longer warranty for your specific product, so it's worth doing as soon as installation is complete … once the window has passed, there's no way to extend it back to the fuller cover.
You have 14 days from receiving your goods to return an unused, uninstalled item in its original packaging and on the pallet it arrived on. For a change-of-mind return, a restocking charge of £160 or 10% of the item's price, whichever is greater, applies, plus £50 per damaged box, and the charge can be higher for deliveries outside the UK mainland. You'll arrange and pay for your own return courier … we only cover collection costs where the item is faulty.
Yes … if your card payment doesn't go through, we can set up a direct order with payment by bank transfer instead. We'll need your full name, address and contact number, and we'll issue a proforma invoice with our bank details. Once you've paid, just email us to confirm so we can verify it and secure your stock.
Yes … you can place an order on back order to secure your item, which is particularly worth doing on popular models where incoming stock can already be earmarked for other orders. You'll be contacted once it's ready to arrange delivery, and you can check progress on the product page in the meantime.
Not always … depends on the product and model. Steam showers always need one … the plug fitted is for factory testing only, and every unit must be hardwired to a fused spur by a Part P electrician. Saunas vary: infrared models under 3000W (1–3 Person Solara, Solara 4 Person Corner, Premier up to 3 Person, Platinum) plug into a standard socket instead; traditional, hybrid, larger infrared (including the 4 Person Premier) and outdoor saunas always need hardwiring. Whirlpool baths … check your manual.
It's the working space needed around the unit while it's being fitted, not a permanent gap you have to leave. Once your steam shower or cabin is built and connected, it can sit flush against the wall exactly as shown in our product photos. Your installer just needs room to manoeuvre and connect it properly during the fit itself.
No … Vidalux is a supply-only company, so we don't have fitters, and we don't offer installation, surveys or old bath removal. The waste and waste pipe are included with your product, and full instructions come with every order. Water connection depends on your own setup … braided connection hoses are common but not always included, so check your product's page. You'll need to arrange your own qualified installer, and hardwired models will need a Part P certified electrician.
All Vidalux units come flat pack and need assembling on-site … none of our range arrives fully built. Full step-by-step instructions are included with your order, and the same guides are also available on our website if you'd like to look through them before delivery day.
Your unit connects to your home's waste via a 40mm compression coupling, and everything needed for that connection … the waste and waste pipe … is included in the box. Water connection depends on your own setup, but braided hoses are the most common and easiest method most installers use. Your plumber can confirm exactly what your bathroom will need.
Running costs are genuinely low, but the exact figure depends on your product, how long you use it and your own electricity tariff, so we can't quote a fixed number here. We've put together a full running-costs guide to help you work it out for your specific model … see vidalux.co.uk/running-costs-cheaper-than-you-might-think.
Not usually … most Vidalux steam showers rely on natural bathroom ventilation and need no changes at all. If your bathroom's smaller or has fixtures sensitive to steam and moisture, you can add ducting to route air outside through a wall, or connect to an extractor fan already in the room. Whether you need this depends on your own bathroom setup and model … check your manual to confirm.
Yes … it's worth running your whirlpool bath before you fix it in place for good. Testing it first lets you check the jets, pump and connections are all working properly, so any issue can be sorted before the bath is sealed in and much harder to access. Your installation manual covers exactly how to do this.
Yes … our spares partner, posh.co.uk, offers a 20% discount code (VIDALUX) on spare parts orders. It applies to genuine replacement parts for your Vidalux product, whether you're still within your warranty period or buying parts afterwards. If it doesn't apply at checkout, contact our support team and they'll confirm the current code for you.
Yes … just contact our sales support team by email and they can add accessories, such as bath robes, to your existing order. The sooner you get in touch the better … ideally before your delivery is scheduled, so everything can go out together rather than as a separate, later delivery.
Yes … our spares partner, posh.co.uk, offers free returns with a full refund if you've ordered the wrong part. Get in touch with them directly to arrange the return, and once it's received back in the right condition, your refund will be processed.
A steam shower has a built-in generator that fills the cabin with hot steam, like a Turkish bath. A hydro shower doesn't … instead it gives you massage jets and a rainfall head over a standard shower, with no steam function at all. Which suits you best comes down to whether you want the steam experience or just a stronger everyday shower.
Walk-in baths are shown on our website without VAT included. If you have a qualifying medical condition, such as arthritis or another mobility-affecting ailment, you may be entitled to VAT relief … you'll need to complete a VAT Relief form declaring the bath is required because of your condition. We can't confirm HMRC eligibility ourselves, so the form carries HMRC's own guidance and contact details.
Around 60–70cm is the usual clearance, since every Vidalux sauna door opens outwards; which side it's hinged on can vary by model. Leaving that clearance means the door can open fully without catching on anything in the room, so it's worth checking against your own floor plan before you finalise where the sauna will sit.
Walk-in baths don't come fully flat-packed … they arrive with the legs pre-fitted. Every model is designed to fit through a standard doorway, though some may not fit through a genuinely narrow one, under about 45cm wide. If your doorway is tight, get in touch with your measurements before ordering so we can check your chosen model will get through.
Yes … you can place your order now and simply leave a note requesting a later delivery date. We'll get in touch closer to the time to arrange the details, and you can choose your preferred delivery date then … so there's no need to wait until your installer's booked before you secure your bath.
Get in touch and we'll send you a short video guide for your specific model, which covers fixing a leaking jet without replacing anything. It's usually a straightforward fix, so you'll be following the right process for your particular bath rather than guessing.
